Scooters Frozen Custard

I just finished online school, but my dad is still busy working (sad face emoji). Maybe I can ask him for a treat? Dad, can we go to Scooter’s Frozen Custard in Lincoln Park? I finished ALL of my schoolwork and the Google says it is one of the best ice cream shops in Chicago. My dad said YES, so off we go.

Scooter’s is a little corner ice cream shop. When we got there, we then had to wait in a long line (Google said it was popular – they were right). Anyway, you can sit inside, but because of COVID you must order from the pick-up window with those annoying social distancing X’s… (eyeroll emoji). No turning back now - sit and wait it is.

I was so excited when we finally got to the pick-up window. I wasted no time and ordered a yummy chocolate custard with gummy worms on top (YESSSSS!). My dad didn’t get any custard because he gave up sweets for Lent (stinks for you, nerd). A woman with gloves on handed me my custard and I wasted no time and dove right in. I love, love, looooove this place, and everyone should go here when it’s hot out (is summer every going to get here???). The chocolate custard with any topping is a must!
